Soy dermatólogo. Se supone que debo decir que no hay cantidad de exposición solar segura. Pero no lo haré, porque eso es una mentira. El adjunto muestra cuánta exposición solar es segura en diferentes ciudades en diferentes épocas del año. ¿Qué quiero decir con "segura"? Quiero decir esto: los rayos UV causan daño al ADN y cáncer de piel. Pero, sorprendentemente, tu cuerpo repara ese daño. Siempre y cuando el daño no supere la capacidad de reparación y comience a acumularse, no debería aumentar tu riesgo de cáncer de piel. Acaban de salir datos que nos indican cuánta exposición a los UV puedes tener sin que el daño se acumule.
